PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Sharon is a senior audit manager for Lewis, Birch & Ricardo, LLC and has served a variety of clients in the manufacturing, wholesale and distribution industry, contractors, medical groups, not-for-profit organizations, and HUD-assisted housing projects. She has extensive experience in performing Federal and State of Florida Single Audits, as well as 'Yellow Book' audits. Annually, Sharon receives specialized training in auditing in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and OMB Circular A-133.

Sharon also manages the retirement plan audits of the firm. She has a comprehensive knowledge of and experience with the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) Rules and Regulations for Reporting and Disclosure under ERISA. Sharon receives additional training regarding changes and updates to Internal Revenue Service and DOL Employee Benefit Security Administration (EBSA) rules and regulations affecting pension plans each year.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Sharon joined Lewis, Birch & Ricardo, LLC in January, 1996 upon graduation from the University of South Florida. Previously, Sharon was involved in the banking and finance industry for eight years.

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:
Sharon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Sharon has lived in South Tampa since 1979 and is committed to the Tampa Bay area. She is an active member of the community, volunteering her time for a variety of civic and charitable activities.
