PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Doug is the former tax director of the Clearwater office of KPMG Peat Marwick. As a CPA in Pinellas County for over twenty years, he has served clients in various industries including health care, real estate development, contractors, financial institutions, manufacturers, not-for-profit organizations and others. During Doug's tenure with KPMG Peat Marwick he served as the senior tax manager for two publicly held companies. Doug has extensive experience with federal, state and local tax issues. Doug is partner-in-charge of the firm's tax practice.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Doug joined the firm in 1990 after working with the Tampa Bay practices of KPMG Peat Marwick and KMG Main Hurdman.

EDUCATION:
B.A. in Accounting, University of South Florida

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:
Doug is a member of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Past-President of Leadership Pinellas, and a graduate of Leadership Pinellas and Leadership Tampa Bay. He is Past-Chairman of Junior Achievement of the Suncoast and Past-President of Florida Blood Foundation, Inc. and Past-President of the Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens Foundation. He currently serves as Treasurer of St. Paul's School.
